STONE WHARF MEETING JUNE 29 at 6 PM at the Hall

Please join your fellow islanders to see the proposals that have been developed for the Stone Wharf based on your input at four previous meetings in April and May. Wright-Pierce will present a concept for an upgraded pier based on ideas heard at these meetings. A significant number of volunteers have spent many hours providing input - please attend if possible to see where we are in this process. Planning Board Public Hearing

Public Notice - Town of Chebeague Island

Notice is hereby given that the Chebeague Island Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing for public comment on proposed shoreland zoning amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Chebeague Island, Maine, adopted by Town Meeting July 1, 2007, amended September 13, 2008.  The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Chebeague Island Hall Community Center, 247 South Road, Chebeague Island, ME.

We are currently working on the 2015 Road Plan. We plan to bring the plan before the Selectmen on Nov 12, 2014.

Sunset Landing Meeting

The Town of Chebeague Island Ad-hoc Sunset Committee

Presents Land survey findings of the Property commonly known as Sunset Landing

All are encouraged to attend an informational meeting regarding the findings of the recent land surveys and studies performed at the Town property commonly referred to as Sunset Landing. Please join committee members, Dustin Roma of Milone and MacBroom and Jim Nadeau of Nadeau Land Surveys on Monday, August 4th, 7:00pm at the Island Hall. Results of Phase 1 of the committee's charge, determine the limitations and characteristics of the property, will be presented. Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Phase 2, surveys and studies of the water side of the property to determine limitations and characteristics, will commence soon.
