IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY DIAL 911

Chebeague Island Fire/Rescue is an all volunteer service, staffing three engine companies (Engine 4, Engine 8 & Engine 9), a water tanker (Tank 1) and a paramedic level ambulance (Rescue 2).

We are all members of the community: lobstermen, school teachers, career fire & rescue personnel, retirees, executives, and just about every walk of life in between!  What is missing?  You!

Most of our members started not having much (or any!) experience and wondered if they could do the job - and found a way to give back to their community by volunteering and helping those in need.

Do you have what it takes?  Find out!  Come talk with us, attend a training, and give it a try! If interested in joining either Fire or Rescue please stop in, visit the town office, or email us at firedept@townofchebeagueisland.org
